Drink 'n Draw this Saturday! (NEW LOCATION!)

Because of Thanksgiving we're shifting earlier in the month! Will we stay here? Who knows?

Anyway, let's see what "2-Hog" Ryan Hill has to say about this month's d-n-d...

And for this session I was hoping to experiment with something some of us old time Sequental SCAD students used to do in college... a JAM POSTER SESSION!!! This will be optional of course, but if you wish to partake, just bring a standard Bristol sheet with something drawn in the center (a character, or a scene... preferably something simple.) Then everyone passes the board around and draws their version/interpretation of whatever you've drawn. At the end of the night you get to take home a piece with lots of cool peoples art on it. If not though than feel free to come and sketch or just hang out and drink and talk about whatever. Please spread the word to anyone you feel like as this is a totally open thing (they don't even have to draw... we get some of those non art folks all the time... it's fun to stare at them and make them feel weird.)

Since we never got our shinola together in October, we're scheduling an emergency Drink 'n Draw this Saturday the 3rd at 8:00. The usual location at the Rose and Thistle at 2314 NE Broadway in beautiful Portland Oregon. Bring pens and pencils and whatever you like, we'll provide 8.5x11 paper.

Drink n' Draw this Saturday!

We’re planning another Drink n’ Draw this Saturday the 22nd at the Rose and Thistle at 2314 NE Broadway. It’s going to be at eight this month instead of seven, so be aware of that change!

I’m also not going to be there, but Ragin’ Ryan Hill is throwing the thing together this month. Everyone’ll probably be in the back dining room, so come on in. If you haven’t been before, everyone’s real friendly.
8.5×11 paper will be provided, but bring anything else you’re going to want.

We're planning another Drink 'n Draw at the Rose and Thistle on 2314 NE Broadway for next Saturday the 21st at 7:00 PM. There's a link to a google map a few posts down if you want to look for it.

We'll provide 8.5x11 copy paper, anything else you need you'll have to bring yourself.

We've been getting a good turnout with a mix of pro artists and hobbyists! Come on down this month and check it out! Maybe someday I'll get around to posting the signin sheets we do every month.

Portland Drink 'n Draw tonight!

Hi everybody, sorry for the short notice. I've been sick and busy all month, so I haven't planned this very well at all. We're planning a Drink n' Draw tonight (Saturday the 31st) at 7:00 at the Rose and Thistle. Not expecting too much of a turnout because of the short notice, but I'll be there for a little while at least. My cold isn't going to let me stay out too late...
